Wales training weekend
Back in Wales again on the Mighty T for two days of training, this time we had Bobby G and Marshy in tow.
Sunday saw us back at the Tryweryn for a couple more runs down the river in playboats. We ten switched back into creekers to run from the Chipper to Bala. Leaving just below Chapel Fall I got to the get out in Bala in 35 mins with the outer close behind in 37 mins. Loading the van up in record time and then hitting the 3 and a half hour journey home brought a good weekend to an end.
After a slight detour to Bala we were on the water by 12pm. After a steady start unfortunately Bob took a swim above Mrs D's bridge. A swift rescue by the team sure him reunited with his boat. All emptied out and ready to go he got back in his boat only to find he'd pulled his shoulder during the swim episode. With Bob out of action we charged out 3 more runs before switching into the playboats for some surfing fun on Cafe wave.
